Stan Knight

Owner/Agency Manager

Stan Knight is the Owner/Agency Manager of Powdersville Insurance Agency, Inc., having purchased the agency from Mr. Sam Stephens in 2008. Stan and his wife, Ellen, live in Mauldin and have three children and five grandchildren. Ellen is a retired school administrator with the Greenville County School District. In 1987, Stan began his insurance career with the South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company in Mauldin, and as an agent received several awards and incentives in his nine years with the company. Sensing that no one company is always best suited to every individual's needs and situation, Stan entered into the independent insurance market to better serve his clients. Stan worked with the Wickliffe Agency in Simpsonville for six years prior to coming to Powdersvile for the ownership opportunity. Stan has completed numerous company sponsored and Industry led training programs, including the professional designation of LUTCF in 1995.

Stan invites you to come by the agency to see why we say, "AT Powdersville Insurance Agency, with us, it's not just business, it's PERSONAL!"
